Emily Smith; studio owner and instructor, opened Focused Fitness in the year 2000. Emily has continued to nurture her quest to learn the many modalities that support her model of health for the body, mind and spirit. Healing is a major focus for her and a gift to so many. Each person comes with a different goal, but Emily steers clients to build core and general strength, as well as provides treatment to those in pain or with limited range of motion, so that they can live their lives well and to the fullest. Emily Smith is certified in Body Logic, Gyrotonic, Pilates, Thai Massage, and Yamana Body Rolling. She is also a PhysicalMind Institute certifying teacher of Pilates as well certifying trainer of Yamana Body Rolling.

Yvonne Woodson; RN, AP, Dipl.OM (NCCAOM) specializes in Acupuncture in Columbus, OH and is licensed in the State of Ohio and Florida as a registered nurse specializing in women’s health. She offers a refreshingly holistic approach to health and healing that comes from over 40 years of experience in the healthcare profession. You will be hard-pressed to find anyone who is trained in as many disciplines of acupuncture in the Columbus, Ohio area. Yvonne is trained in the classic art of Five Element acupuncture, Non-Invasive Toyohari acupuncture, Trauma acupuncture, Orthopedic acupuncture, and the latest approach to cosmetic acupuncture known as the Mei Zen™ Cosmetic Acupuncture System.

Kelly Quinn; Kelley McBride Quinn has been working in the fitness industry for over 35 years, as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. Kelley began to explore the healing power of yoga about 20 years ago after the abuse of high-impact aerobics, running, and lifting weights in the gym had taken its toll on her body. Through her studies of yoga, Kelley thankfully discovered Pilates after reading an article about the method in Yoga Journal magazine. Intrigued, she decided to learn more about Pilates and was certified to teach the mat work series by the PhysicalMind Institute in 1997. Kelley began her Pilates apparatus training in 1999, shortly after finding out she was pregnant with her 2nd daughter—training while pregnant offered her a unique opportunity to develop Pilates programming for the prenatal/postpartum client, which has become one of her specialties. Kelley is also a yoga instructor, and is certified through YogaFit, Integrative Yoga Therapy, ShivaShakti Synthesis (advanced teacher training), Whole Birth Yoga, and Kidding Around Yoga. Other certifications include TRX Suspension, Core Barre, Bender Barre None, and Functional Aging Institute. Kelley offers a very hands-on, eclectic, and often playful approach to help her clients discover the wonderful benefits of Pilates, yoga, and functional fitness—encouraging them to find freedom of movement, while building trust and confidence in their own bodies.

Sofia Luther; from Sweden, moved to Columbus in 2013. "My interest in massage started at a very early age, helping my parents with their chronic back and neck issues. I was trained and certified in Sweden, in massage and Craniosacral, which has allowed me to expand my ability to create positive changes in the body. My goal is to free you from any discomfort or pain you may have, and allow you to relax from a stressful lifestyle."

Cathy Kline; Licensed Massage Therapist since 2003, with a background in Kinesiology, Quantum Touch,, Reiki and Reflexology. She taught massage at the Ohio Institute of Health Careers in 2008, and has worked with clients at the Elizabeth Blackwell Center from 2010 to 2014. Cathy specializes in stress and pain reduction designing each massage to your specific needs.

Karen Brown; Karen received her reflexology certification in 2007 from the Reflexology Science Institue here in Columbus, Ohio and was nationally certified through the ARCB in 2008. Her desire is to help others with this type of work as it has helped her. Karen is offering 1 hour reflexology sessions in the massage room or in the Salt Room.

Tristan Krause; Tristan is a Polestar trained instructor and is currently working on his pre-health biology degree at The Ohio State University. Tristan discovered Pilates in 2012, when attempting to relieve shoulder and back pain brought about by weight lifting. A student his entire life and a pilot since 18, Tristan constantly uses Pilates to fight the, "slouched," posture his every day activities induce. "My goal is to make everyone feel comfortable in their own bodies so they are able to enjoy their days to the fullest."

Kimberly Wilczak; Certified Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner. Kim offers Thai Yoga Massage (TYM), which is bodywork that integrates passive yoga postures with palming and thumbing along clients’ muscles. This type of massage is performed fully clothed on a soft and comfortable floor surface. After a 60-90 minute massage clients often feel relaxed, grounded, and energized. They also report feeling more mentally focused and an increased range of motion. As a result of her dance and ice skating training, Kim brings dexterity, strength, and body-knowledge to her work. Her clients have included dancers, ice skaters, fencers, yogis, and other athletes ranging in age from 13 to 70+. Special to TYM, this form of bodywork is fine to receive on the same day as (and even before) strong physical activity such as a rehearsal, performance, or game.
